Burckhardt Compression secures LNG BOG compressor order for Southeast Asia LNG terminal, oil-free process compressor dem

Swiss firm Burckhardt Compression announced multiple Laby® oil-free reciprocating compressor orders for an LNG receiving terminal in Thailand. The units will recover boil-off gas (BOG) from LNG storage tanks. The contactless oil-free design reduces gas leakage and maintenance work under cryogenic conditions. As Southeast Asia expands LNG import infrastructure, special compressors for BOG recovery and oil & gas processes keep gaining orders. Oil-free, explosion-proof and long-maintenance-cycle process compressors are key purchasing targets for overseas oil & gas projects.
