Kaishan Group Signs Contract with Kenyan Geothermal Firm, Compressors for Geothermal Projects Exported to Africa

Kaishan Group signed a cooperation agreement with Kenya Electricity Generating Company (GDC) to jointly develop geothermal resources in the East African Rift Valley. The project will be equipped with special screw compressors for geothermal processes and gas processing compression units. Geothermal resource development in Africa keeps accelerating, and geothermal and biomass power projects drive demand for process compressors. Relying on complete sets of geothermal and energy storage solutions, domestic compressor manufacturers are exploring the African energy equipment market, shifting from simply selling air compressors to supplying complete equipment for energy projects.
