7 Sets of 185kW Two-Stage Compression Air Compressors Delivered in Bulk for New Chemical Materials Project by Tanabe Sei
Background: The production of fine chemical new materials requires non-stop air supply 24/7. The process demands high stability of compressed air pressure, and the annual operation duration of the factory exceeds 8,000 hours. Traditional single-stage air compressors have high specific power, leading to high electricity cost in long-term operation. Solution: 7 sets of 185kW two-stage compression screw air compressors were selected. Adopting two-stage compression intercooling technology together with an intelligent group control system, the system automatically allocates unit loading according to air consumption load of multiple workshops. High-temperature corrosion-resistant filters were matched to adapt to the dust and corrosive gas environment in chemical plants. Result: The units achieved an additional energy saving of 9.52% compared with the first-class energy efficiency benchmark, ensuring stable air supply for multiple workshops in the chemical plant. The bulk delivery mode shortened on-site installation and commissioning cycle. It solves the high energy consumption pain point of air compressors in long-cycle chemical production and provides a reference for equipment selection of centralized air supply in large chemical parks.
