Atlas Copco reminds that condensate compliance becomes a new priority for European & American factories

Atlas Copco released technical news on Oct 8, warning that tightening environmental regulations in Europe and North America bring higher compliance risks for compressed air condensate discharge. Many end-users focus only on energy efficiency and air quality, ignoring oil contaminants in condensate, which may lead to heavy fines. Oil-water separators and condensate recovery systems are recommended. In food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries, integrated condensate treatment packages are increasingly required in air compressor tender specifications.
