Funoer Air - Cooled Refrigerated Dryer (FN - AD Series) Introduction
Product Overview
Funoer Refrigerated Dryer (hereinafter referred to as dry dryer) is the core equipment for in - depth dehydration of compressed air. It cools the temperature of compressed air to below the dew point (2 - 10°C) through a refrigeration system, making the water vapor in the air condense into liquid water. Then, the liquid water is discharged through the drainage system, so that the pressure dew point of compressed air is stably controlled at about 2°C, meeting the drying requirements of most industrial scenarios.
Funoer dry dryers are divided into two major series: air - cooled type (FN - AD) and water - cooled type (FN - WD). The processing flow ranges from 1 to 100 m³/min. It uses imported refrigeration compressors and high - efficiency heat exchangers, and the energy efficiency ratio is 15% higher than the industry standard. It can be adapted to various types of air compressors such as screw, piston and centrifugal types, and is an economical solution for industrial compressed air drying.
Working Principle
Funoer Refrigerated Dryer adopts a three - stage heat exchange principle of "pre - cooling + refrigeration + evaporation":
-
Pre - cooling stage: The high - temperature compressed air (about 40 - 60°C) from the air compressor first enters the pre - cooler and exchanges heat with the low - temperature clean air that has been cooled by the refrigeration system. The temperature drops to about 25°C, and a part of the condensate is initially precipitated.
-
Refrigeration stage: The pre - cooled air enters the evaporator and conducts forced heat exchange with the refrigerant (R22/R410A/R134a) of the refrigeration system. The temperature drops rapidly to 2 - 10°C, and most of the water vapor in the air condenses into liquid water.
-
Gas - water separation stage: The air containing condensate enters the gas - water separator. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid water is separated and collected at the bottom water collection cavity, and then discharged through the automatic drain valve.
-
Temperature recovery stage: The dried low - temperature air re - enters the pre - cooler and exchanges heat with the high - temperature intake air. The temperature rises back to about 20°C and then is discharged, avoiding condensation in the pipeline and recovering cold capacity to reduce energy consumption.

Maintenance and Service Key Points
-
Regularly clean the condenser fins of the air - cooled dry dryer (1 - 2 times per month) to avoid dust blockage affecting heat dissipation.
-
For water - cooled dry dryers, it is necessary to regularly check the quality of cooling water to avoid scaling of the heat exchanger (clean once every 6 months).
-
Replace the refrigeration system lubricating oil once every 12 months and check the operating status of the compressor.
-
Regularly check the working status of the automatic drain valve (once a week) to avoid poor drainage causing the dew point to rise.
-
Replace the dry filter (refrigeration system) once every 24 months to ensure the cleanliness of the refrigerant.
