FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryer (hereinafter referred to as "the Dryer") is a high-efficiency deep dehydration device designed specifically for scenarios requiring stringent drying standards. It employs either the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology or the heatless regeneration method, utilizing activated alumina and molecular sieve as adsorbent materials to thoroughly capture and remove moisture from compressed air. This enables the dryer to achieve a pressure dew point ranging from -20℃ to -70℃, effectively meeting the rigorous dryness demands of compressed air in sectors such as precision electronics, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and instrument calibration.
The FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryer product line consists of two main series: the Heatless Regeneration Series (FN-AT) and the Micro Heat Regeneration Series (FN-MT), with a processing capacity spanning 1 to 200 cubic meters per minute. Featuring a dual-tower alternating operation design, the dryer ensures a steady, uninterrupted supply of dry air. Additionally, the energy consumption required for adsorbent regeneration is significantly lower than the industry average, making it the top choice for applications that demand strict dew point control.
Working Principle
The FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryer operates on a dual-tower switching mechanism, where one tower performs adsorption while the other undergoes regeneration, cycling continuously:
Adsorption Stage: Humid compressed air flows into the adsorption tower, where moisture is trapped by the micro-pores on the surface of the adsorbents (activated alumina or molecular sieve). The dried air is then released from the top of the tower, maintaining a pressure dew point between -20℃ and -70℃.
Regeneration Stage: Once the adsorbent in one tower reaches saturation, the tower switches to regeneration mode, and the moisture adsorbed by the adsorbent is removed through one of the following methods:
Heatless Regeneration: Approximately 10% to 15% of the dried compressed air is decompressed to atmospheric pressure and used to back-purge the adsorption tower, eliminating moisture and completing the regeneration process.
Micro Heat Regeneration: A small fraction (about 2% to 5%) of dry air is heated to 180℃ to 200℃ by an electric heater, then used to purge the adsorption tower and desorb moisture—this method boasts even lower regeneration energy consumption.
Cooling Stage (Unique to Micro Heat Regeneration): After regeneration is completed, room-temperature dry air is introduced into the tower to cool it down, restoring its adsorption capacity in preparation for the next adsorption cycle.
Dual-Tower Alternation: The adsorption and regeneration status of the two towers is automatically switched by a pneumatic valve group, with a switching cycle of 5 to 10 minutes, ensuring non-stop air supply.
