Chinese Air Compressors Win All Bids for Large Coal Mine Air Station Tender
Xinji Energy, a subsidiary of China National Coal Group, released the bidding result of mine screw air compressors. Three domestic manufacturers, Jufeng, Tianjin Air Compressor Factory and Kaishan, took all top three positions, while international brands including Atlas Copco and Ingersoll Rand failed to be shortlisted.
The project supplies clean air for underground instruments and tunneling equipment, requiring high dust resistance, impact resistance and long maintenance-free cycle. Domestic two-stage permanent magnet VSD units cut energy consumption by 11% compared with imported counterparts with obvious price advantages. The procurement landscape of traditional energy mining industries has shifted greatly. Replacement orders for domestic compressors in coal and power sectors jumped 49% month-on-month in July, and leading manufacturers expanded production capacity for mining portable compressors.
