Oil-Free Compressed-Air Station for a Sterile Lyophilized Powder Workshop in Northeast China

Background: Sterile lyophilized-powder pharmaceutical production demands oil-free compressed air directly tied to drug safety. Original units carried trace oil-penetration risk and unstable dew point, failing GMP unannounced inspections.

Solution: A new Class0 oil-free station using water-lubricated oil-free screw units eliminates oil contamination. Deep-cooling dryers stabilize dew point below -40℃. Pipelines upgraded to 316 stainless steel. Workshop-wide monitoring tracks air-quality parameters in real time.

Results: Air source fully meets pharmaceutical clean-air specifications and passes GMP inspections. Zero oil-contamination risk enhances production safety. Energy consumption about 22% lower than the old system, meeting green-manufacturing requirements.
